Rancho Palos Verdes Portrait Photographer | Malaga Cove Family Portraits

It was our last photo shoot of 2010--and a great way to end the year, with one of our favorite sessions. We met Jerry and Wendy's fun family--in town from New Jersey, San Francisco and San Diego--at the lovely Malaga Cove library for a Rancho Palos Verdes family photo session--what an amazing backdrop. Then we moved to the Malaga Cove fountain for an extended family shot.







After the library, we headed down the street to the bluffs, for killer ocean views from PV to Malibu.

We stayed long enough for an amazing sunset at "magic hour." And New Year's was just a few hours away.

We spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon with the Harris family on a wet, rainy day for a Hermosa Beach family photo session. We had hoped to step outside, but with the downpour, we made do with an instant studio set-up in the family living room instead.
We're thrilled with the results, and better yet, so is the family.

Palos Verdes Congregation Ner Tamid Bat Mitzvah

It's January now, and we're just getting to posting some highlights from the December Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.
Katie was lively and vivacious and a total pleasure to photograph during her photo shoot at Rancho Palos Verdes' beautiful Congregation Ner Tamid, high up on the hill overlooking the Los Angeles basin.

Her reception was held at the Portofino in Redondo Beach, right by the water, where Katie was truly the life of the party, staging dance contests, running madly through the restaurant at break-neck speed during the "Pepsi/7UP" game and....well, check out her jump shot. There are jumps, and then there are jumps. Mazel Tov, Katie!
