Graham and Graham Photography and the Jewish Journal !
We're in the Jewish Journal this week, in the annual spring Los Angeles Bar/Bat Mitzvah issue, with a new ad designed around recent Bar Mitzvah subject Dorian, and that most iconic of shots from Leo Baeck Temple a few weeks back.
This is the first of four ads that will be running in the print edition of the Jewish Journal, the number one source of Jewish news, information and arts coverage in the Los Angeles area. Look for Ally from Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills and her big party from the Mark for Events next week.
Meanwhile, we're also seen in the online edition of the Jewish Journal, at JewishJournal.com, with ads featuring Dorian and Ali (not to be confused with Ally!) from our recent shoot at Culver City's Temple Akiba.

Fantasea Yacht Club Bat Mitzvah \ Marina del Rey Bat Mitzvah Party
Two weeks later, we returned to the Fantasea Yacht Club for another big Bat Mitzvah party, this time for Ali, following her morning Culver City Bat Mitzvah at Temple Akiba.

Culver City Bat Mitzvah | Temple Akiba | Bat Mitzvah Photographer
Ali's mom hired us for the Temple Akiba Bat Mitzvah back in...ahem, 2007, after Jacob's Culver City Bar Mitzvah--so we had lots of time to plan for this event.
We brought our reds and blues to have Akiba shine for us, and had a superstar in future supermodel Ali as our Bat Mitzvah. And as always, the amazing Rabbincal and Cantorial talents of Temple Akiba's Rabbi Zachary Shapiro and Cantor Lonee Frailich.

Brothers! | Issac and Eli | Culver City Bar Mitzvah
We had the good fortune of documenting Eli's Culver City Bar Mitzvah 3 years ago at Temple Akiba and meeting his wonderful family for the first time. Fast forward to 2009, and it was Issac's turn on the bima.
It was an emotional afternoon, highlighted by a tight brotherly hug that's turned into one of our all-time favorite shots.
Rabbi Zachary Shapiro from Temple Akiba performs memorable Havdalah services--we were honored when he posted our shot of Eli and the Rabbi on his website 3 years ago--here's the new one with Issac--and the old classic as well!
